Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Martino Silva (ranked 5615 p4p, 5569 weight class) and Mateo Embry (ranked 0 p4p, 360 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Martino Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mateo Embry!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Embry moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Embry looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Embry lands the left hand.
Embry leaves Silva with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Silva lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Embry stuffs the takedown attempt from Silva. Silva gets slowly back to his feet.

Embry takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Embry crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Silva - the referee stops the clock and Embry gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Silva. Embry manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
