Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Reed Andrews and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hall misses with a body kick.
Potku slips under a jab from Hall.
Hall throws out a leg kick but Potku moves out of range and Hall only half commits.

Potku stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Hall.
Potku lands a nice hook to Hall's body. Hall takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

I was talking to Potku's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Potku lands a hook to the side of the head.
Hall is pressed up against the cage. Potku has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Hall down to the mat. Hall avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Potku closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Hall quickly recovers to half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
