The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kozlov scores with a jab. Mansueto acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Mansueto shoots for a double leg takedown but Kozlov sprawls well. He's pushed Mansueto's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Kozlov scores with a jab to the jaw.

Kozlov clinches up against the cage.
Kozlov stops a takedown attempt from Mansueto.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Kozlov.
Mansueto is working for takedown but Kozlov is calmly controlling the position for now.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cobra Mansueto. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kozlov lands a left hand that snaps the head of Mansueto backwards.

Kozlov breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kozlov cracks Mansueto with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Mansueto tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Kozlov pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Mansueto is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
