Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sambo Sam (ranked 1127 p4p, 271 weight class) and Gillechriosd McCoy (ranked 149 p4p, 45 weight class). McCoy is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: YxngB - The Irish. Gillechriosd McCoy has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Sambo Sam's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCoy connects with a right hand. Sam shakes it off.
Sam connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

McCoy felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

McCoy missing with a left hand there. Sam was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

McCoy has his foot on Sam's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Sam works his way back into a safe position though.

McCoy is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Sam defends well.
Sam stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. McCoy swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Sam lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and McCoy has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from McCoy and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

It's got to the stage where if one of these guys blows hard enough, the other might fall over.

McCoy feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Sam sprawling to the canvas! Sam rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can McCoy finish him?!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
McCoy swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Oh Sam is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

McCoy sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Sam's defenses. It connects perfectly with Sam's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
