Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Herio Lupsaka (ranked 3148 p4p, 2971 weight class) and Petey Pablo (ranked 399 p4p, 377 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Herio Lupsaka!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Petey Pablo!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Jorge Garcia and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pablo comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Pablo lands a nice shot to the body.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Lupsaka is defended easily by Pablo.
Lupsaka shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Pablo defends it nicely.
Pablo works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
We've been hearing reports that Lupsaka has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Lupsaka looks for a takedown but Pablo sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Herio Lupsaka. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lupsaka will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Pablo scores with a jab.
Pablo feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Lupsakas jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Lupsaka shoots in and drives through. Pablo sprawls well.
Pablo throws a right hand that Lupsaka ducks under and follows up with a left that Lupsaka also avoids with ease.
Lupsaka dives in and grabs Pablo's left leg, looking for a takedown. Pablo pushes down on Lupsaka's head and hops out.
Lupsaka is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Pablo lands a left and a right that send Lupsaka crashing to the mat, dazed. Pablo thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Lupsaka is rocked!
Pablo throws an uppercut from hell that sends Lupsaka clean off his feet! He's out cold! Pablo stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Petey Pablo!
After winning the bout, Petey Pablo thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
