Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chris Zarch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chris Zarch could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Peter Jones's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Peter Jones!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, William Gold and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Zarch is trying to buck Jones off.
Zarch really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Zarch is fighting off a takedown attempt but Jones is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Zarch to the mat. Zarch regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Jones rushes Zarch and presses him up against the cage.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Jones just misses with a elbow thrown towards Zarch's brow.

The referee calls for Jones to work.

Jones takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Zarch jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Jones walks away with a smile on his face. Zarch gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Zarch shoots in but Jones avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Jones tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Zarch paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Zarch isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Jones stacks Zarch on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Jones!

Jones is landing with some decent strikes but Zarch is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Zarch is in all sorts of trouble here.

Jones is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Zarch is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Zarch flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Jones anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Zarch and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Jones slips an arm under Zarch chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Jones has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Jones is squeezing on Zarch like an anaconda would it's prey. Zarch fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Peter Jones!
