This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the bantamweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 5 losses; Gauthier Delisle! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Helsinki, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 3 losses; Ian Laperierre!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yasuomi Hirokawa.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Laperierre fails to land the takedown.
Delisle changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Laperierre tries to avoid it but Delisle manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Laperierre to the ground. Laperierre escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Laperierre gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Laperierre tries to score a body lock takedown but Delisle shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Delisle holds on and takes a little breather.

Delisle has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Laperierre can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
