The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Borg moves in looking to clinch but diaz pushes him off.
Borg digs a good hook to diaz's body.
Borg tests diaz's chin there with a solid looking shot.
diaz avoids a punch combination nicely.
Pavel Borg seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Borg throws a combination. diaz tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Borg clinches up against the cage.
diaz avoiding damage.
Borg wants to break the clinch but can't.
Borg is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
diaz tries to pull guard but Borg won't allow it.
diaz can't get the takedown.
diaz pushes off an throws an elbow but Borg leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
diaz jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Borg walks away with a smile on his face. diaz gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

diaz is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Borg defends it well.
