These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jon Nolan!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Ben Hemmingworth and Ben Watson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steel misses with an uppercut. Nolan saw that one coming.
Steel misses the body punch
and Nolan counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Steel looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Steel with the inside leg kick.
Steel throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Nolan.
Steel misses with a looping left.
Steel throws a looping overhand right but Nolan ducks down to avoid it.
Steel lands a body shot.
Nolan stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Steel.
Steel tests Nolan's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Steel misses with a hook.
Steel throws a poor cross that misses
and Nolan counters with a left to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Steel scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Nolan avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
It seemed like Nolan was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Steel misses with a looping left.
Nolan moves into range and connects with a jab.
Nolan just misses with a punch to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Steel misses with the body kick
and Nolan counters with a lovely straight right hand!

It looks like Jerome Steel has been cut.
Nolan moves away from the strike by Steel.
Nolan is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Steel throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Steel ducks under a wild hook from Nolan.
Steel uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Nolan has time to react.
A nice inside leg kick there by Steel. That's going to slow Nolan down.
Nolan misses with a looping left.
A shot to the body from Steel misses
and Nolan counters with a stiff right hand.
Nolan uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Steel.
A low kick lands for Steel.
Steel throws a looping overhand right but Nolan ducks down to avoid it.
Steel misses with a hook
and Nolan cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Steel connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Nolan misses with a lunging right hand
and Steel counters with a nice kick to the body.
A punch lands to the side of Nolan 's head but he takes it in his stride.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
An inside leg kick lands from Steel.
Steel throws a body kick that misses

and Nolan counters with a crisp right hand that drops Steel! Nolan lets Steel back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Steel throws a poor cross that misses
and Nolan scores with a counter punch that sends Steel to the canvas! Nolan smells blood - he's punishing Steel with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Steel has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jon Nolan!
A relieved looking Jon Nolan thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
