Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Sebastian Burger (ranked 23972 p4p, 23932 weight class) and Major Pain (ranked 565 p4p, 593 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sebastian Burger!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Major Pain!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Wesley Smith and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pain tries to clinch up but Burger circles away and keeps his distance.

Burger tries to keep at a distance but Pain has taken the fight into the clinch.
Burger is trying to break the clinch but Pain is controlling him.
Pain stalling in the clinch.
Pain swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Pain breaks from the clinch.
Pain throws a right and a left that both miss.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pain throws a head kick that misses
and Burger counters with a body kick.
Pain tries a head kick but it misses.
Major Pain seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Burger works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Burger avoids the head kick by Pain.

and Burger counters with a stiff right hand.
Burger definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Pain tries to clinch up but Burger circles away and keeps his distance.
Pain moves to clinch but Burger breaks away
and Burger connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Burger misses with an uppercut. Pain saw that one coming.
Pain takes a kick to the side of the head.

Pain closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.
Burger is trying to break the clinch but Pain is controlling him.

Pain's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Pain dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Burger misses with a straight right.
Pain lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Burger lands a body shot.
Pain looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Pain misses with a kick to the body
enabling Burger to counter with a crisp jab.
Pain throws out a leg kick but Burger moves out of range and Pain only half commits.
Pain throws a low kick, looking for Burger's leg but Burger calmly moves out of range.

Pain has closed the distance and engaged Burger in a clinch.
Pain effectively controlling the action here.
Burger is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the ropes.

Pain breaks the clinch.
Burger feints and then cracks Pain's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Pain down.
Burger catches Pain with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Pain clinches up against the ropes.

Pain breaks from the clinch.
Pain misses with a head kick.
Pain tries to clinch but Burger is having none of it.
Burger was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Pain misses with a head kick.
Burger looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.

Pain forces Burger back against the ropes and clinches.
Pain displaying some good clinch control by pressing Burger up against the ropes.

Pain's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Sebastian Burger is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Burger slips under a jab.
Pain fails in his attempt to clinch.

Pain drives through and clinches with Burger against the ropes.
Pain's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Pain manages to break the clinch.
Pain tries to clinch but Burger moves away
and Pain takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Pain moves into the clinch successfully.
Pain has Burger pushed against the ropes.
Pain missing with knees to the body.
A body shot lands from Pain.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Major Pain dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Burger throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Pain tries to clinch up.
Pain pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
A little feinted left hand from Burger on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Burger takes a swing at Pain's ribcage but misses.
Pain swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

Pain closes the distance and clinches.

Pain's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Burger pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Pain lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Burger at a distance.
No joy there for Pain, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pain wants to clinch up but Burger keeps it at a distance.
Pain throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Burger appears to be looking for a big counter.
Pain has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Pain forces Burger back against the ropes and clinches.

Pain's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Burger cracks Pain with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Pain on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
A lazy body kick from Pain
and Burger counters with a low kick, right behind Pain 's knee.
Pain swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Burger counters with a straight right hand.
Pain throws a half hearted mid kick.

Pain has Burger up against the ropes in a clinch.

Pain breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Pain is looking to clinch.
Burger lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Pain connects with a looping right hand.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Pain throws a head kick that misses.
Burger throws a lazy head kick

and Pain counters by clinching up.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Pain escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Pain closes the distance and clinches.
With the fighters up against the ropes, Pain throws an elbow but misses.
Burger is trying to break the clinch but Pain is controlling him.
Burger looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Burger prevents a body shot from Pain.

Pain breaks the clinch.

Pain moves into range and clinches up with Burger.
Pain displaying some good clinch control by pressing Burger up against the ropes.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Burger is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Pain is keeping busy.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Burger has had enough of the clinch but Pain keeps him there for the moment.
Major Pain seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far.
Pain has Burger pressed against the ropes, preventing Burger from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Pain's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Pain tries to score with a low kick but Burger moves his leg out of the way.
Pain wants to clinch up but Burger keeps it at a distance.
Major Pain is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Pain throws a combination that misses
and Burger counters with a slapping leg kick.
Pain is looking to clinch but Burger is avoiding it.
Burger throws a nice head kick!
Pain lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Burger circles away quickly and effectively.

Burger throws out a head kick that Pain doesn't see coming - it connects and sends Pain crashing to the mat face first! He's bounced up to his knees and is scrambling to get back to his feet and beat the count. He's up on 5 but still looks a bit groggy; will the referee allow it to continue??? He's taking a good look into Pain's eyes and has decided to let it go on!
Burger throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Pain crumples to the floor and the fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:35 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Sebastian Burger!
