Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Matteo Chibaclov (ranked 1458 p4p, 2863 weight class) and Dookie PooPoo (ranked 193 p4p, 342 weight class). Dookie PooPoo told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Matteo Chibaclov!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dookie PooPoo!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Steve Smith and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
PooPoo jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Chibaclov with a lazy takedown attempt
and PooPoo counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Chibaclov takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Chibaclov shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with PooPoo but PooPoo pushes him off and we're back to square one.
PooPoo appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
PooPoo stuffs the takedown attempt from Chibaclov. Chibaclov gets slowly back to his feet.
A little jabbing left from PooPoo on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Matteo Chibaclov. That's going to take a lot out of him.
PooPoo keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

PooPoo lands with a straight right. Chibaclov didn't see that one coming.
PooPoo clobbers Chibaclov with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Chibaclov looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Matteo Chibaclov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Chibaclov fails with a takedown attempt.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Chibaclov shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Chibaclov wants to lay and pray for a moment but PooPoo keeps working.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Chibaclov is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
PooPoo is trying to stand back up but Chibaclov is controlling him
Chibaclov perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Chibaclov is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and PooPoo defends it well.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Chibaclov tries to pass the half guard into mount. PooPoo knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Chibaclov seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if PooPoo can do anything to dispel that myth.
Chibaclov wants to lay and pray for a moment but PooPoo keeps working.
Chibaclov has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can PooPoo defend it? Chibaclov steps over the head and cranks it - PooPoo is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Chibaclov!
