The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, John Kavanagh and John Roberts.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Mendes shoots for a double leg takedown but Levesque sprawls well. He's pushed Mendes's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Levesque changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Mendes closes the distance and pushes Levesque back into the cage.
Mendes jumps into guard, dragging Levesque to the mat.
Levesque wants to pass the guard but Mendes is keeping the position.
