Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Medieval Mercenary (ranked 5080 p4p, 23695 weight class) and Igor Trubitsyn (ranked 504 p4p, 544 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 13 - 1, fighting out of New York, Medieval Mercenary!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Igor Trubitsyn!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Shirou Masuda and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trubitsyn looks to score with a jab to the body but Mercenary is just out of range.
Trubitsyn tests Mercenary's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Mercenary throws the left hand but Trubitsyn avoids the punch easily.
Trubitsyn doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Mercenary has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Mercenary and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Trubitsyn lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Trubitsyn is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Mercenary had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.

BOOM! Trubitsyn lands a beautiful left hook that drops Mercenary. Mercenary tries to recover but Trubitsyn is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Mercenary lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
