The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pierre drops Pulkkinen with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Pulkkinen looks back up at him and smiles so Pierre waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
It looks like Sepi Pulkkinen has been cut.
Pierre throws a body shot but no joy.
Pulkkinen cracks Pierre with an open hand slap.
It looks like Jacques Pierre has been cut.
Pulkkinen ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Pierre moves away.
Pierre slips a jab and a cross from Pulkkinen.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Pulkkinen throws a left and a right that both miss
and Pierre counters with a crisp right hand that drops Pulkkinen! Pierre lets Pulkkinen back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Pulkkinen is rocked!
Pulkkinen throws a poor cross that misses
and Pierre counters with a right hand from hell and Pulkkinen is out cold! A vicious knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jacques Pierre !
