Empire's entrance music is Protectors of the Earth. A fine choice. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Empire tries to clinch but Korvakarva is having none of it.
Roman Empire seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Empire works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
It looks like Jani Korvakarva has been cut.
Empire keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Korvakarva swats away the attempt to clinch by Empire.
Korvakarva clinches but Empire breaks the clinch
and Empire counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Korvakarva looks to land a body kick but Empire moved away.
Empire is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Empire drops Korvakarva with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Korvakarva! Empire dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
