Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mishon Dalton (ranked 4197 p4p, 5108 weight class) and Kristapzs Lintellz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mishon Dalton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kristapzs Lintellz!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Roger Salmon and Paul Gruel.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dalton lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Dalton clinches up with Lintellz and pushes him back against the cage.
Lintellz is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Dalton wants to break the clinch but can't.
Dalton really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Lintellz prevents a takedown attempt there.
Lintellz stops a takedown attempt from Dalton.

Lintellz is trying to trip Dalton. He has hold of a leg but Dalton is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Lintellz persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Dalton kicks Lintellz off and gets to his feet.
Dalton looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lintellz is fending him off so far but Dalton persists. Nope, Lintellz circles away and we're back to standing.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Dalton manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

Dalton shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lintellz pinned against the cage. Lintellz gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Lintellz closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Lintellz lands in his opponent's guard.

Dalton manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Lintellz keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Dalton takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
