Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Derder gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
It looks like Joel Derder has been cut.
Dalton slips under a jab.
Dalton moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Dalton loads up on a big right hand but Derder slips the punch.
Derder missing with a left hand there. Dalton was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Derder ducks under a wild hook from Dalton.

Dalton lands a big right hand that sends Derder crashing to the mat! Dalton stays standing though and waves Derder back to his feet!

Dalton is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Derder tries to get into range but Dalton steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Derder! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Dalton scores the big KO victory!

After the fight, Nick Dalton was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
