Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 30 - 41 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Great Tiger!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Steven Seagull!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Saam Ante and Nard Betker.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Seagull throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Seagull tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Tiger paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Tiger seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Tiger throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Seagull's head.
Tiger misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Seagull gets the takedown into side control.
Tiger seems a little lost for a moment, as Seagull dominates the positioning.
Tiger takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Seagull works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Tiger tries to buck Seagull off but Seagull is having none of it.
Seagull lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Tiger down.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Tiger has one of Seagull's arms on lockdown, trying to prevent him from doing any damage.
Tiger prevents Seagull from improving position.

Seagull tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Seagull trying to control the position but Tiger is working away.
Seagull cracks Tiger with a big elbow.

Seagull is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Tiger is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
What's Tiger going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle.
Tiger is looking to reverse the position.
Tiger taking punishment in the form of punches.

Seagull goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Tiger rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Seagull's guard! Nice work there by Tiger!
Tiger landing some decent shots from guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Tiger controls from within his opponent's guard.

Seagull has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Tiger doesn't defend quickly enough and Seagull has managed to lock this one up! Can Tiger escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Seagull on a fantastic submission victory.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Steven Seagull!
After the fight, Steven Seagull was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
