Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between DeShawn West (ranked 1475 p4p, 1186 weight class) and Remi Johnson (ranked 191 p4p, 155 weight class). West comes to the cage accompanied by Can’t Be Touched - Roy Jones Jr. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good standup being displayed there by West as he connects with a hook.
Johnson throws a hook to the side of West's head but West sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
West swings away with a body shot that misses
and West takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

and Johnson counters with a straight right hand.

and Johnson counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Johnson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but West was well out of range. Poor timing from Johnson.
West jabs Johnson right on the nose. Johnson blinks but takes it well.

and West counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Johnson shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. West manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

West takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
West lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Johnson up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs West from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Johnson's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
