The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Snoozemen throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Alvarez was covering up waiting for the punch and Snoozemen finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Snoozemen stays in close to Alvarez's body and controls the position.
Alvarez wants to stand up but Snoozemen is controlling him.
Snoozemen controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Snoozemen drops back looking for a leg! Alvarez is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Alvarez manages to kick Snoozemen off! Snoozemen jumps back into Alvarez's guard.
Snoozemen chips away with some ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Alvarez can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Snoozemen controls the pace.
Snoozemen postures up and lands a big shot to Alvarez's brow.

Alvarez wants to stand and escape but Snoozemen is having none of it.

Snoozemen is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Alvarez is looking to stand up but Snoozemen isn't so interested in that idea.
