The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Warrior has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Gulag avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Warrior ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Warrior no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Warrior manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Gulag seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Gulag really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Warrior. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Gulag controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Gulag's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Gulag loads up on a big right hand but Warrior slips the punch.
Grizzly Gulag seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Warrior sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Whack! Gulag lands a heavy head kick that drops Warrior. The ref tackles Gulag to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Warrior was done.
