Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mich Sadler!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Krav Mcgraw!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Thiago Cunha and Seu Braga.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcgraw fails with the takedown.
Sadler fails with the takedown

and Mcgraw counters with a single leg into guard. Sadler didn't expect that.
Sadler will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Sadler looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Sadler really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Sadler has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Mcgraw can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Sadler tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Mcgraw trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Mcgraw works over Sadler with some ground and pound from guard.

Mcgraw seems to be working for a kimura but Sadler defends the submission attempt.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mcgraw prevents Sadler from improving his position.

Mcgraw is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Mcgraw has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Mcgraw is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Sadler sees it coming and defends easily.
Mcgraw drops an elbow to the side of Sadler's head.
Sadler gets full guard.

Mcgraw drops back looking for a leg! Sadler is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Sadler manages to kick Mcgraw off! Mcgraw jumps back into Sadler's guard.
Sadler knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mcgraw on the ground.
Mcgraw looks gassed!
Mcgraw pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Sadler is keeping the position for now.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Sadler is looking for a triangle but Mcgraw pushes his legs off easily.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Mcgraw's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Mcgraw stands up over Sadler, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Mcgraw scoring with punches to the head and body.

Mcgraw is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Sadler is in trouble now - Mcgraw has advanced to mount!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mcgraw lands a heavy elbow.

Mcgraw with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Mcgraw working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Sadler looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Mcgraw! Submission of the night perhaps?
