The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nogueira shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hynynen but Hynynen pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Nogueira closes the distance and clinches up with Hynynen, looking for a takedown. Nogueira pushes Hynynen against the cage but Hynynen circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Nogueira looks frusrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Nogueira is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Hynynen has escaped the position, nice work there.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Nogueira gets to mount! Hynynen was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Nogueira moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Hynynen has worked his arm free - good work by Hynynen!
