Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chidi Chika (ranked 263 p4p, 235 weight class) and Jax Chambers (ranked 15 p4p, 12 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Radbod Blank and Paulsen Ambrosius.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chika slips a jab from Chambers.
Chambers fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Chika manages to avoid it.
An attempted straight right counter from Chika misses the target.

It seemed like Chambers was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Chambers avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

It looks like Jax Chambers has been cut.
Chika throws a looping overhand right but Chambers ducks down to avoid it.
Chika throws a hook to the side of Chambers's head but Chambers sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Jax Chambers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Chambers lands with a shot to the body.
Chika is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Chambers's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.
Chambers connects with a body shot that sends Chika's belly button to the back.
Chambers misses with a two punch combination.
Chika chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Chambers can pounce on him.
Chika uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Chambers.

and Chambers counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

We've been informed that Chambers has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Chambers pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Chika is looking to chop away at Chambers's legs.
Chika looks to land a left hand but Chambers moved out of range nicely.

Chika fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Chambers has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

and Chika cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

and Chika counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Chika cracks Chambers with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Chambers tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Chika pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Chambers is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chidi Chika!
