Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hjalmar Raak (ranked 3200 p4p, 2696 weight class) and Brock Dredd (ranked 378 p4p, 330 weight class). Dredd is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Wake up the Town. Brock Dredd is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Brock Dredd!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Alec Ball and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Raak misses with an uppercut. Dredd saw that one coming.
A little jabbing left from Dredd on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Raak drops his hands momentarily and Dredd takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
A shot to the liver by Raak. Beautiful body shot.
Dredd swings for the body but Raak moves out of range.
A looping hook to the body misses from Dredd. Raak does a little dance to reset his feet.
Raak scores with a jab. Dredd acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Raak throws a series of punches but Dredd moves out of range.
Dredd was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
We've been informed that Dredd has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Dredd counters with a nice right hand that sends Raak toppling to the canvas! Raak scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Dredd finish him?!
Raak is rocked!
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Dredd lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Raak head around and knocks him out cold! Dredd hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Brock Dredd!
A relieved looking Brock Dredd thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
