The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Panda is looking to slow Puno down with leg kicks.

It looks like Adan Puno has been cut.
We've been informed that Panda has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Puno walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Panda checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Puno swats away the attempt to clinch by Panda.
Panda misses with a jab, cross combination.
Panda looks to land a right hand but Puno moved out of range.
Puno appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Panda ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Puno moves away.
Puno fires out a quick counter leg kick but Panda just manages to avoid it.
Panda moves to clinch but Puno breaks away
and Puno counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Panda's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Panda duly obliges.
Panda looks for the body kick but Puno saw that one coming.
A big right from Puno misses.
Panda misses with a body shot.
It looked like Puno wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Adan Puno will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Panda fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Panda does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Puno takes a shot to the body in his stride.
