Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Grigoriy Babikov (ranked 3574 p4p, 4967 weight class) and Kaiser Siegert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Grigoriy Babikov has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Grigoriy Babikov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kaiser Siegert!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Chris Downing and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Babikov.

Babikov gets a takedown into half guard.
Siegert is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Babikov scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Babikov working over Siegert with some ground and pound. Siegert looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Babikov has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Babikov lands a big elbow.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Babikov cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Babikov pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Siegert is rocked!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Siegert regains half guard.
Siegert really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Babikov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Babikov is pressing down on Siegert's thigh, looking to free his foot. Siegert is holding on for now.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Babikov moves into full mount! Siegert won't be happy about that!
Babikov is landing with some decent strikes but Siegert is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Babikov looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Siegert covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
