The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Faber tries to clinch up.
Santos throws a series of punches but Faber moves out of range.
Santos tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Faber counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Faber.
Santos wants to stand up but Faber is controlling him.

Faber thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Faber drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Faber jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Faber is standing up over Santos. Santos looks to escape but Faber dives into side control.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Santos wants to get back to his feet but Faber drags him back down.

Faber is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Santos looks calm but he's in trouble here. Faber gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Santos is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Faber lets go of the hold and Santos can pop his arm back in it's socket.
