Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Clifford Val Salvacion (ranked 24186 p4p, 4346 weight class) and Nick Dalton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Dalton keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Dalton tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Dalton has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Salvacion will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Salvacion shoots in and drives through. Dalton sprawls well.

And Dalton tries to counter it with a takedown but Salvacion pushes his down on his head and steps out.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Dalton stands and steps away. Salvacion gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Salvacion throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dalton's waist but Dalton gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Salvacion off to one side.

Well Dalton has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
