The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Yen with that takedown attempt.
Verkko throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Yen.
Some wild striking there from Verkko.
Verkko cracks Yen with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Yen looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Verkko finish him?
Yen is rocked!
It looks like Suzuki Yen has been cut.
Verkko fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Yen is still on wobbly legs! Can Verkko finish him?
No joy there for Verkko, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Yen seems to have recovered his senses.
Verkko throws a right and a left that both miss.
Yen shoots in but no luck this time.
Verkko is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Yen hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
