Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Iner Raledran (ranked 2047 p4p, 1849 weight class) and Fela Kuti (ranked 273 p4p, 250 weight class). Kuti has chosen Expensive Shit as his entrance music. Fela Kuti has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Raledran lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Raledran scores with a sloppy right hand. Kuti should have avoided that one.
Kuti misses with a shot to the body
and Raledran makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Kuti really felt that one!
Raledran ducks under a wild hook from Kuti.
Raledran appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Raledran takes a swing at Kuti's ribcage but misses.
Kuti just misses with a punch to the body.

and Raledran counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Raledran jabs Kuti to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Raledran takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Raledran tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Fela Kuti seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kuti sizes up Raledran with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Raledran is looking to counter punch.
Kuti throws an overhand right that lands on Raledran's shoulder, as Raledran tries to avoid the shot.
Kuti throws a shot from downtown. Raledran moves away and avoids it.

and Raledran counters with a nice leg kick.
Kuti on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Raledran. Raledran obviously looking to wear him down.

Kuti lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Raledran slips under a jab.
Kuti swings for the body but Raledran moves out of range.
Kuti keeps the fight on the outside.

Kuti throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Kuti takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Raledran tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kuti paws at him with a jab and circles away.
A looping hook to the body misses from Kuti. Raledran does a little dance to reset his feet.

Kuti tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Kuti throws a shot from downtown. Raledran moves away and avoids it.

Raledran rushes Kuti and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Raledran blocks a body shot from Kuti.
Raledran drops down looking for an ankle pick but Kuti pulls his leg out and moves away.

Raledran displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kuti throws out the jab.
The fighters circling - Kuti throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Raledran looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.

Kuti misses with a left hand
and Raledran counters with a slapping leg kick.
Kuti fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Raledran on the side of the head.
Kuti missing with a left hand there. Raledran was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Raledran keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Kuti.
Kuti throws an off balance right hand
enabling Raledran to counter with a crisp jab.
Raledran tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Kuti avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Kuti! But no joy.
Kuti fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Raledran looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Raledran tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Raledran slips a jab from Kuti.
Raledran throwing a counter right hand but Kuti manages to avoid it.
Kuti misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Raledran lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.

Kuti misses with an uppercut.
Kuti stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Raledran.
Kuti misses with a right hand

and Raledran counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Raledran tries to free his leg and advance position but Kuti is retaining full guard.
Raledran passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Raledran is looking to take a break and control but Kuti is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Raledran tries to move into full mount but can't pass Kuti's legs.

Raledran is trying to move to mount but Kuti reverses beautifully and ends up in Raledran's guard.

Raledran has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Kuti should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Raledran has tightened it up now! Kuti should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
