Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Sturmberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paavo Vayrynen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vayrynen comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Paavo Pesusieni - Ikuinen Hippi kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Anni Minnemäki and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vayrynen drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Sturmberg can't do much from the bottom here.
Vayrynen stands up and beckons Sturmberg to his feet.
Sturmberg gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Sturmberg keeps control of Vayrynen as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
A nice left hand lands by Sturmberg.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Sturmberg jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Vayrynen walks away with a smile on his face. Sturmberg gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Sturmberg closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Sturmberg breaks the clinch.
Sturmberg scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Sturmberg thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Vayrynen trying to get back to his feet but Sturmberg is in full control for now.

Sturmberg is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Vayrynen is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Sturmberg doesn't have the hooks in and Vayrynen manages to turn into his guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sturmberg is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Sturmberg looking for a guillotine here but Vayrynen defends easily.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Vayrynen's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Vayrynen is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Sturmberg looking to control but Vayrynen passes into half guard.
Vayrynen decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Vayrynen throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Vayrynen gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Sturmberg counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Vayrynen looking for submissions from an awkward position here.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Vayrynen looks like he's trying to stand up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

and Sturmberg decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Vayrynen's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sturmberg slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Vayrynen.
Vayrynen wants to stand back up but Sturmberg manages to pass into side control.
Vayrynen takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Vayrynen tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Sturmberg has hold of Vayrynen's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Vayrynen seems comfortable defending it but Sturmberg has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Vayrynen is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Vayrynen is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Sturmberg couldn't care less - he's delighted!
