Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Carraig o Cathain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pete Greco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). o Cathain comes to the cage accompanied by U2 - Pride. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Greco on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Greco throws a leg kick but o Cathain sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Greco looks for a takedown but o Cathain sprawls well.
o Cathain throws a nice looking combination but Greco bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
o Cathain misses with a kick to the body.
Greco shoots in and drives through. o Cathain sprawls well.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
o Cathain tries to close the distance and clinch but Greco swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

and Greco decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in o Cathain 's guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Carraig o Cathain will probably get the nod.

Greco seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but o Cathain does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Greco tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. o Cathain just stands there and leans against the cage.
Greco drops to a knee looking for a takedown but o Cathain gets the underhooks and prevents it.
o Cathain prevents a takedown attempt there.
Greco wants a takedown.
Greco jumps guard but o Cathain stands there with Greco around his waist. Greco gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

I would just about give that final round to Pete Greco.
