The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No Neck fails with the takedown.
Tahari throws out a counter right but No Neck avoids it with no problem.

No Neck clinches.

Tahari has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but No Neck regains guard immediately.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Tahari is looking to work some ground and pound but No Neck has wrist control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
No Neck is trying to keep Tahari in close.
Tahari won't allow No Neck to sweep him here.

No Neck on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if No Neck tries to get out of the position.
No Neck not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Tahari throws a strike but No Neck rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
No Neck wants to pass the guard but Tahari is keeping the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
No Neck trying to control the position from guard on top but Tahari is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Tahari looking for submissions from the bottom but instead No Neck passes into side control.
Tahari tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but No Neck wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
No Neck tries to advance to mount but can't.
No Neck working away.

Randy No Neck showed his dominance in that final round.
