Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Wayne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edmond Dantes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Edmond Dantes will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wayne is looking to regain half guard here but Dantes keeps moving and retains side control.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Dantes had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Wayne is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Dantes Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Wayne's back instead.

Wayne rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

Wayne thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Dantes drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Dantes jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Wayne throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Dantes escapes and throws Wayne's legs to the side, diving into side control!

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Dantes doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Wayne decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Dantes's guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dantes lands a couple of digs.
Dantes cracks Wayne with a solid left hand.

Wayne takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Dantes lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.

Dantes is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Wayne looks calm but he's in trouble here. Dantes gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Wayne is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Dantes lets go of the hold and Wayne can pop his arm back in it's socket.
