The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Devlin gets tackled into the cage by Thorsen. Thorsen maintains the clinch.
The referee is keeping an eye on Thorsen - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Devlin just leaning against Thorsen, taking a breather.
Thorsen tries to pull guard but Devlin won't allow it.
Thorsen is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Thorsen is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Devlin is defending well for now.
Devlin with an attempt at a knee that misses.

Thorsen breaks from the clinch.
Thorsen slaps away a takedown attempt from Devlin, before circling back to the center of the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Thorsen tries to score a power double leg takedown but Devlin sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Thorsen somewhat.

Thorsen fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Devlin to the ground. Thorsen is now in Devlin's guard.
Devlin throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Thorsen throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Devlin works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Thorsen looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Devlin trying to keep a closed guard but Thorsen is proving a slippery customer.
Thorsen is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Devlin looking to hit a scissor sweep but Thorsen is one step ahead there.
Devlin keeping moving, preventing Thorsen from controlling successfully.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Thorsen is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Thorsen looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Bael Devlin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ansgar Thorsen.

and Thorsen holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Well Thorsen has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
