The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Sosuke Kotani and Yukihiro Shimada.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Voin manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Omoran on his heels. He'll look to pass Omoran's guard now, I'm sure. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Voin (2) vs (0) Omoran
Voin is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Omoran is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Voin defends well.
Voin slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Voin has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Omoran has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Voin can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
