Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Hiroshi Gomi (ranked 3478 p4p, 24700 weight class) and Brick Bronson (ranked 188 p4p, 253 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Gomi might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Only Thing The Fear is You- DOOM Eternal OST. Bronson has chosen Pink Floyd - Another Brick in the Wall as his entrance music. Hiroshi Gomi has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bronson fails with an attempt to clinch.
Good exchange - Gomi coming out on top.
Bronson misses with a takedown attempt - Gomi sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Gomi scores with the left hand. Bronson knows he should have avoided that one.
Gomi swings for the body but Bronson moves out of range.
Bronson steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Gomi.

Gomi tries to keep at a distance but Bronson has taken the fight into the clinch.
Gomi tries to circle away but Bronson has him pinned against the cage.
Bronson will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Gomi up against the cage.
Bronson keeps control of Gomi as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gomi wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Bronson has him pressed against the cage.
Bronson misses with the head strike.
Gomi can't break the clinch.
Gomi is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Gomi has had enough of the clinch but Bronson keeps him there for the moment.
Gomi tries to break the clinch but Bronson is controlling the position.

Bronson manages to pull guard.

Gomi decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Gomi throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Bronson fails with the takedown.
Gomi cracks Bronson with a right hand to the side of the head.
Gomi connects with a single shot there.

Bronson forces Gomi back against the cage and clinches.

Bronson breaks the clinch.
Gomi circles away from the clinch attempt.
Gomi with a jab.

It looks like Brick Bronson has been cut.
Gomi is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Gomi throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Bronson on the side of the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Gomi drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Bronson right on the button. Bronson goes down! Gomi follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Gomi gets the win via TKO!
