Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Han Wulong (ranked 4103 p4p, 5104 weight class) and Jocky Brodie (ranked 477 p4p, 507 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Brodie's choice of entrance music: Braveheart Theme - Oakenfold Remix. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Han Wulong!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jocky Brodie!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Tarja Halkonen and Johanna Lukiainen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brodie throws a head kick that Wulong semi-blocks.

It looks like Han Wulong has been cut.
Brodie digs a good body shot into Wulong's ribs.

Wulong drives through and clinches with Brodie against the cage.
Brodie tries to throw a body punch but Wulong avoids it by throwing Brodie back against the cage.
Wulong tries to circle away but Brodie has him pinned against the cage.
Wulong pushes off an throws an elbow but Brodie leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Wulong's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Wulong takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Brodie cracks Wulong with an open hand slap.
Brodie feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Wulongs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Wulong takes a head kick and keeps coming.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Wulong closes the distance and clinches.
Wulong is trying to break free.
Wulong is looking to break free of the clinch but Brodie has double underhooks.
Wulong lands a damaging elbow.
Wulong looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Brodie is trying to maintain a safe position but Wulong gets an underhook and turns Brodie into the cage.

Wulong's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A left and a right from Brodie both land. Nice combination.
Brodie punishes Wulong's body with a nice straight punch.

Wulong closes the distance and clinches.
Wulong is trying to force a seperation but Brodie has the dominant position.
A short body shot lands from Brodie as the two fighters clinch.
Brodie scores with a shoulder strike.

Wulong gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Brodie manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Wulong keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Brodie prevents Wulong from breaking the clinch.
Brodie avoids the elbow strike from Wulong, against the cage.
Brodie goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Wulong breaks the clinch.
Brodie slips a jab and a cross from Wulong.
Brodie lands with a hook. Wulong tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Brodie throws out a powerful jab.

Brodie lands a big head kick that sends Wulong tumbling to the mat! Brodie takes a step backwards and waves Wulong back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Wulong is rocked!
Brodie lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Wulong up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Brodie from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Wulong's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jocky Brodie!
In defeat, Han Wulong stepped up to the mic, saying 'Shieeeeet'.
