Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Giorgi Gelashvili (ranked 4005 p4p, 4048 weight class) and Johnny JJ (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Giorgi Gelashvili!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Johnny JJ!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Frank Dennis and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gelashvili shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has JJ pinned against the cage. JJ gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Gelashvili shoots in but JJ avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Gelashvili fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Giorgi Gelashvili. That's going to take a lot out of him.
JJ pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Gelashvili back to the cage. JJ follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

JJ closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Gelashvili changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. JJ looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

JJ bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!

Gelashvili looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
JJ wants to counter with a clinch but Gelashvili pushes him away.
JJ throws a front kick that sends Gelashvili stumbling back into the cage.
Gelashvili shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has JJ pinned against the cage. JJ gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

JJ has Gelashvili pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. JJ pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Gelashvili tumbling to the mat - JJ dives into Gelashvili's guard.

JJ has control of Gelashvili's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Gelashvili regains control of the situation pretty easily.
JJ is breathing heavily.

JJ is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Gelashvili knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Gelashvili for a finish.

Gelashvili shoots in looking for a takedown. JJ tries to sprawl out of it but Gelashvili keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. JJ manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Gelashvili drops down looking for an ankle pick but JJ pulls his leg out and moves away.

Gelashvili shoots in looking for a takedown but JJ manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Gelashvili's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
JJ tries a head kick but it misses.
No luck for Gelashvili with that takedown attempt.

Johnny JJ comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well JJ has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
