Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Peter Kowalski!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Brady Orr!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Roosa Järviläinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Orr lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Orr misses with a low kick.
Kowalski appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Orr cracks Kowalski with a right hand to the side of the head.
Nice straight punches there by Kowalski. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Kowalski.

It looks like Brady Orr has been cut.
Orr stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Orr scores with a sloppy right hand. Kowalski should have avoided that one.

Kowalski closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kowalski lands in his opponent's guard.
Kowalski lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Kowalski postures up in Orr's guard and throws a big left but Orr blocks it.

Kowalski passes Orr's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Kowalski is trying to control the action in half guard but Orr is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Kowalski takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Orr is refusing to be controlled, as Kowalski sits in half guard.
Kowalski throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Orr really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kowalski. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Kowalski winds up and cracks Orr with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Orr blocking the ground and pound attempt from Kowalski.
Orr is not content to let Kowalski control the position.
Orr desperately trying to maintain half guard.
Kowalski tries to pass to full mount but Orr defends it.

Kowalski works his foot free and advances to mount.
Kowalski has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Orr is squirming around, avoiding Kowalski's attempts to control the action.

Kowalski looking to ground and pound but Orr is blocking nicely.
Poor strikes thrown by Kowalski there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Kowalski is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Orr can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Kowalski drops a big elbow. That's hurt Orr! More shots from Kowalski and the ref steps in! The fight is over!

Peter Kowalski is the new heavyweight champion!
Peter Kowalski very nearly forgot to thank MKFC amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
