Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Thorgard drives through with a takedown into guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Wrastle gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Thorgard to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Thorgard turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Thorgard manages to end up in side control.

Wrastle bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Thorgard's guard.

Thorgard tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Thorgard controls Wrastle momentarily but Wrastle frees himself.

Thorgard on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Thorgard tries to get out of the position.
Wrastle not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Thorgard avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

A slow jab from Thorgard misses its intended target.
Wrastle tries to counter with a clinch but Thorgard shakes him off and moves away.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Thorgard dives in and scores a takedown into Wrastle's guard.
