PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jetmir Erminus (ranked 1183 p4p, 1651 weight class) and Liam Murphy (ranked 123 p4p, 172 weight class). Liam Murphy told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Erminus fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Erminus chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Erminus looks to land a left hand but Murphy moved out of range nicely.
Murphy scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Erminus throws a low kick, looking for Murphy's leg but Murphy calmly moves out of range.

Erminus with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Murphy to score with a decent uppercut.

Murphy bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Erminus's guard.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Erminus lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Murphy has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Murphy and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
