The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Daniel Bishop and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shiva fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Smith shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Smith showed some decent athleticism there.
Shiva is looking for a sweep. Smith is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Smith isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Shiva stacks Smith on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Shiva!

That was a close round but I would say that Paavo Smith will probably get the nod.
