Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between William Jiminez (ranked 2116 p4p, 1661 weight class) and Danny Cruz (ranked 118 p4p, 95 weight class). Jiminez comes to the cage accompanied by Wanted Dead or Alive. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jiminez misses with a takedown
and Cruz counters with a nice leg kick.
Cruz scores with a nice right hand.

Cruz throws a looping overhand right but Jiminez ducks down to avoid it.
A little feinted left hand from Jiminez on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Jiminez shoots in but Cruz avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Cruz throws a front kick that sends Jiminez stumbling back into the cage.
Jiminez shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Cruz but Cruz pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Cruz feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Jiminez sprawling to the canvas! Jiminez rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Cruz finish him?!

Oh Jiminez is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jiminez glances at the clock... BAM! Cruz nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Jiminez crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Jiminez is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
