Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Roger Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pentti Linkoala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Linkoala has chosen Ei enää pelitä as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Silva drives through with a takedown into guard.

Silva drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Silva jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

and Silva counters with a nice double leg into side control. Linkoala won't be happy with that.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Linkoala wants to get back to his feet but Silva drags him back down.

Silva has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Linkoala's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
