Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Yovanni Ross (ranked 4172 p4p, 4161 weight class) and Daniel Pascu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Gregory Folan and Trevor Gratis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ross tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Pascu manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Ross is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Pascu swats away the attempt to clinch by Ross.
Pascu lands a jab.

Ross clinches up with Pascu and pushes him back against the cage.

Ross manages to pull guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ross working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Pascu doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Pascu manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Pascu wants to get up but he can't break Ross's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Ross has his foot on Pascu's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Pascu works his way back into a safe position though.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Pascu tries to stand but Ross is controlling from the bottom.

Pascu got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ross has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Pascu has managed to get both his arms back between Ross's legs - danger averted.
Pascu is looking to stand up but Ross won't let him.

Ross has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Pascu should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Ross has tightened it up now! Pascu should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
