Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Gwen Towbar and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burroughs shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Machado as he jumps to the side.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Burroughs prevents a takedown attempt there.
Machado has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Burroughs avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Machado tightens his grip and picks Burroughs up, before dumping him to the ground. Burroughs manages to land in guard.
Burroughs wants to sweep but no luck.

Burroughs wants to work for an arm triangle but Machado is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Machado has his foot on Burroughs's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Burroughs works his way back into a safe position though.

Burroughs keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Machado's head.

Burroughs loads up on a big left hand. Machado felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Burroughs looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Machado can't hide his disappointment, as Burroughs celebrates the victory.
