Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kurosaki Ichigo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Bowie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bowie has chosen The Undertaker Theme Song as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Kurosaki Ichigo has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Sam Margolis and Daniel Bishop.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ichigo has a takedown stuffed.
Bowie misses with the combination.
Bowie circles away from the clinch attempt.
Ichigo tries to clinch there but Bowie circles away.
Bowie throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Ichigo tries to clinch up.
Bowie takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Ichigo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bowie swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Bowie tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ichigo sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bowie somewhat.

Ichigo closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Bowie did well to prevent Ichigo getting side control.
Ichigo seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bowie does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Bowie pushes Ichigo off and gets back to his feet.

and Bowie counters with a single leg into guard. Ichigo didn't expect that.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ichigo wants to stand and escape but Bowie is having none of it.

Ichigo is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Bowie is aware though and is defending well.
Bowie working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Bowie passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Ichigo is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Bowie has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Bowie wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ichigo keeps working.
Bowie remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Ichigo is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Ichigo parries the strikes from Bowie easily there. Bowie is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Ichigo to escape.

Bowie is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Ichigo has escaped the position, nice work there.
Ichigo tries to bench press Bowie off him but Bowie keeps the position.
Ichigo is pushing Bowie's head away, looking to escape. Bowie manages to hold on to the position though.
