Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tyson Law (ranked 720 p4p, 693 weight class) and Jun Liu (ranked 111 p4p, 105 weight class). Law kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Country Boy Can Survive. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liu throws a shot from downtown. Law moves away and avoids it.
Liu tries to land a front kick but Law steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
A lazy left from Liu finds it's target.
Law misses with a takedown attempt - Liu sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Liu looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Liu scores with a jab to the jaw.
Law has closed the distance and engaged Liu in a clinch.

Liu walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Law checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

The crowd cheers as Liu lands an impressive looking overhand right. Law doesn't seem phased though.

Liu throws a leg kick which misses Law's front leg but catches the back leg as Law tries to avoid it.

Liu pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Law tries to counter with a takedown but Liu is quick to defend against it.

Liu will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Liu lands a nice shot that snaps Law's head back.
Liu misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Law has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Liu finds it's way round the side to connect with Law's head.
Liu stalks Law and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Law's face. Law staggers backwards, shaken.
Liu swings for the body but Law moves out of range.
Law tries to counter with a takedown but Liu is quick to defend against it.

Liu falls off balance throwing a combination
and Law counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Law.

Law wants to control but Liu is keeping him busy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Law cracks Liu with a big right hand but Liu just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Jun Liu showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Back to the action! And we move into the final round!

and Law decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Liu's guard.
The fighters are working up against the cage. Liu manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Liu is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Liu swings wildly with an uppercut but Law uses good head movement to avoid it.
Liu misses with the head strike.
Law tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Liu smiles and moves away.
Law looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Law drops his hands momentarily and Liu takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Liu scores with a hook to the body. Law takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Law shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Liu manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Law sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Liu's guard.

Law working over Liu with some ground and pound. Liu looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Law thows a huge punch but Liu dodges it nicely.
Liu is positioning himself well to prevent Law advancing to mount.
Law takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Law is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Liu is just riding it out for now. Law eventually gives up the hold.

Liu has hold of Law's hands but Law slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Law is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Liu sees it coming and defends easily.
Law throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Law drops an elbow to the side of Liu's head.
Liu is trying to get back to full guard.
Liu wants to control but Law is keeping busy.
Law is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Law thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Liu's head.
Law is thwarting Liu's attempts to control the position.
Law is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Liu doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Law.
Tyson Law has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Liu tries to roll over but Law keeps him under control.
Law looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Liu with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Liu wants to control but Law is keeping busy.
Tyson Law overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Law is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Law uses his free foot to push down on Liu's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Liu.
Liu tries to hold on but Law postures up.
Law scores with a couple of good head shots there.
And that's the end of the fight!
Tyson Law showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Liu has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
